Scheduled Blackboard Maintenance / Server Outage

From time to time, Blackboard will need to take down or reboot their server for scheduled maintenance. We will post maintenance notifications on this page as they are received. If the server is down and there is no scheduled maintenance notice posted, that means that it is an unexpected outage and you should contact our 24/7 help desk.

Time: 02:00 am to 06:00 am US Eastern

Regularly Scheduled Maintenance to the Blackboard Datacenter Could Affect the Blackboard SafeAssignTM, Blackboard SyncTM(including the Blackboard Learn® for Facebook® and iPhoneTM applications) and Blackboard ScholarTM Services.

We do not anticipate this datacenter maintenance to impact Blackboard SafeAssign, Blackboard Sync, and Blackboard Scholar. However, there is a small chance that these services may become unavailable for use. In that case, users would not be able to submit assignments to Blackboard SafeAssign, utilize the notification capabilities as part of Blackboard Learn for iPhone and Facebook applications, or access their Blackboard Scholar bookmarks during this maintenance period.
